Want to get creative for the Weekend? Decorate your left over Altoids boxes.

I buy a lot of Altoids (well once in a while), and for the past several months I have accumulated a bunch of them.  Some of them are even from last year.  I've been trying to find something to do with them for a long time, but I never knew what to do with them, until last weekend.

On Sunday, I was looking around my room, trying to do some Spring cleaning, when once again I came across a bunch of Altoids boxes that I've been having for months.  So using some of the Duct Tape I purchased last week at the Pop Up store (check post below) and Essie's "sleek stick nail appliques" (Yes, nail stickers!), I got a little creative with my boxes. Check the results below!!

Duct Tape + Fashion + Everything you can think of

Almost two weeks ago, I was on my way to my internship when I saw something that caught my eye immediately:  Duck Tape's Pop Up store located in Times Square.  The store offers tons of  tape types including printed, bright colors and licensed brands such as Angry Birds and Hello Kitty.  The store also showcases a giant color blocked shoe - I absolutely love shoes - made out of tape and cardboard plus tons of other ways to use Duct Tape.  It is so interesting to see how you can get so creative with just tape.  You can also find dresses from Project Runway designers, all made out of Duct Tape.  How cool is That!!?  I  am sure many of you saw it in the show.

And if you are a David Bowie Fan, you can even find a portrait made out of tape!

So if you are in the NYC area, check out this cool store (corner of 40th Street and Broadway)! It will be open until Sunday, April 28th.

You will never see tape the same way before :). Well, Maybe.

Check out my photos below. I am not sure who created each piece, but if you recognize the artist(s) work(s), let me know!
